Aylin Goknur

Aylin Göknur graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School in 1992 and MiddleEast Technical University, Department of Architecture in 1996.

Her experiences over 25 years include different aspects of architectural practiceretail planning & design, re-fit & renovation, mall design, urban design, interior designand construction & project management. She has design competition awards as part of architectural teams.

She carried out a lead design management role in TESCO International GroupProperty Team (UK, Central Europe, Asia and Hindustan Service Company) for 10 years, and other local and foreign supermarket chains following later. Retail designexperience involves developing store formats, design and project management of newstores, malls & fit-outs, signage packs, equipment design and brand communication.She worked in the biggest concert and art hall of İzmir, Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center (AASSM) application project phase with ARUP Engineers.

Currently she is a project coordinator forİzmirdenizurban design project, thatinvolves coasts of İzmir. She is also carrying out a small scale architectural consultantbusiness.
