Murat Bektaşlar was born in 1973 in Germany, completed his primary and secondary education in Izmir, and graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Geophysical Engineering in 1996.
During his school years, the retail sector, where he started as a cashier, became an enduring passion for him.
He played various roles in globally recognized international retail companies and managed 25 teams during his 28-year retail journey, providing direct support to the development of hundreds of managers. In the last 4 years of his retail journey, he served as the CEO of a new venture in Nigeria, one of the most populous countries in Africa. While sharing his knowledge and experiences over the years, he gained incredible insights into the African market, expanding his scope to include Mauritius.
In addition to retail, he led projects requiring significant change and development. He took on the coordination of establishing one of the few IoT production facilities in Turkey.
